October theme: Thriving as a way of life

Thriving is not about striving—it is about opening to God’s grace and blessings. As we accept divine abundance with gratitude, we discover that thriving means living fully, joyfully, and courageously, rooted in Spirit’s infinite flow. This month we explore how Ancient Wisdom teachings can transform scarcity into sufficiency, fear into trust, and limitation into boundless possibility. 

 

 

Many of us grew up in cultures and families that did not thrive and some even taught that poverty was "holy!" Our founder, Ernest Holmes, teaches us a simple truth.... "Change your thinking, change your life!" The teacher, Jesus, taught his disciples that, "It is God's great pleasure to give you the kingdom," but we must learn to accept, utilize, and gift that kingdom in order to live a thriving life.  When I walked into CSL Seattle in 1997, I found a supportive, loving, community and class after class that showed me how to do just that. I started learning to THRIVE and be PROSPERED and my life these days offers evidence of how this teaching changed my life indeed!

 

 

 

Youth can participate in learning spiritual practices and principles taught here at the Center on Sundays at 9 a.m. For Preschool up and K-12 grade at 11 a.m. Families with young children are invited to use our viewing room located on the top floor.
