New Year’s Eve Service - Creation as a Spiritual Practice

12/31/2025 07:00 PM - 08:00 PM PT

Description

December Theme: Glorious!

In Knowledge of the Higher Worlds and Its Attainment (GA 10), Rudolf Steiner wrote that the path to higher knowledge begins with feelings of wonder and reverence. He explained that when a person experiences genuine awe before the beauty, order, and mystery of existence, the soul becomes still and receptive to spiritual impressions.

“Without a feeling of wonder, no genuine knowledge can arise,” he said.
“Reverence awakens the soul’s organs of perception.”

Even though we often wish people Happy Holidays, what people are often experiencing is Harried Holidays. In December, you’re invited to join others at CSL, either online or in person, to remember that we are surrounded by the wonders of creation: Glorious!

Talk Title: Creation as a Spiritual Practice
It’s said you can’t create something from nothing — except that’s the very way the universe works. And if we are an expression of the universe, we too can create beautiful things out of what seems like nothing. Kathianne and friends invite you to create your experience of 2026 not by redoing the past, not by fixing things, but by generating a whole new idea of what can be.
