Recompose Presents: Death, Everyone’s Doing It
A Conversation with Jan Campbell and Laura Sullivan Cassidy
A Conversation with Jan Campbell and Laura Sullivan Cassidy
We all know we’re dying - Jan Campbell just has a clearer timeline. Diagnosed with Stage 4B Ovarian Cancer in 2020, Jan has faced death with honesty, humor, and heart. Now she’s inviting others to talk about it, because facing death openly can actually help us live more fully.
In this free 90-minute interactive event, Jan is joined by Laura Sullivan Cassidy of Recompose, the ecological alternative to traditional deathcare. Together, they’ll explore the emotional, spiritual, and practical sides of dying - from fear and courage to legacy and green burial options.
Jan has prearranged her own deathcare through Recompose and registered with End of Life Washington. Her story, and her willingness to share it, creates space for healing, insight, and growth. As she puts it: “If you can talk about it, you can manage it.”
