A day of reflection, connection, and collective intention
Since 1998, people around the world have gathered on the first Saturday in May to walk labyrinths as a moving meditation for healing, peace, and reflection as a part of the global Walk as One at 1 intentional peace movement.
Center for Spiritual Living Seattle will be hosting two labyrinths this year. One inside our beautiful Sanctuary and one outdoor on our open lawn area. Please come be a part of this special community connecting experience.
Join us for an immersive experience as we walk As One at 1, in solidarity with people worldwide, holding a shared intention for peace. This event features a portable canvas labyrinth as well as an outdoor labyrinth, guided workshop on its history and symbolism, and a meditative walk with soothing music. Finger labyrinths are available for accessibility. A reflective writing exercise follows, offering space to integrate insights. Participants may choose quiet introspection or optional group sharing.
Come walk with us - connect deeply, reflect intentionally, and be part of a global movement for peace, unity, and transformation.

This moving meditation is part of a global ritual spanning every time zone.
Labyrinths offer time and space to reconnect—with yourself, your surroundings, and your community. In a time of constant stress and uncertainty, many are turning to this ancient symbol for peace, healing, and clarity.
Unlike mazes, spiritual labyrinths are single-path, circular walkways. They’re used for meditation, mindfulness, and spiritual reflection—symbolizing life’s journey and the process of transformation.
People use labyrinths to:
-
Practice mindfulness
-
Navigate life transitions
-
Honor significant events
-
Cultivate peace
-
Listen to their own inner wisdom
This event is open to the public. Feel free to invite friends, family, or anyone who might benefit.
We hope you’ll join us—it promises to be a meaningful and restorative experience.

She loves labyrinths, gothic cathedrals, books, and stories of human triumph over adversity. She recently returned from Spain where she made a solo trek, covering 500 miles of the Camino Frances.
Mary Ellen’s personal credo is “Life is easy when you share what you love and teach what you know.”
Steeped in New Thought for over 35 years, Mary Ellen brings a fresh perspective on how to take our teachings and use them in real life ‘where the rubber meets the road.’
