Unveiling Ancient Spiritual Texts

     

In 1945, a trove of over 50 ancient texts, often labeled as 'Gnostic,' was unearthed in Egypt. While some, like the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Philip, have garnered attention, many remain obscure. Delve into these intriguing yet little-known texts to explore their insights into the spiritual journey, exploring themes such as the eternal struggle between darkness and light, and the duality of pleasure and pain. Join us as we uncover these ancient spiritual texts, aiming not only to expand your knowledge but to reveal their relevance as blueprints of the human psyche. What we now term 'psychology' was once known as gnosis, the ancient wisdom of the soul.

Michael Bogar, MDiv, ThM: Michael’s approach is from a full-life experience and he can relate to a wide range of people. Michael has studied and taught classical religious texts from many religious traditions and is a very effective teacher of spiritual concepts. He has studied Jungian Depth Psychology and universal mythologies. He is a brilliant integrator of mythology, theology, personal spirituality, practical philosophy, and depth psychology. He combines deep scholarship, spontaneous humor, and contagious enthusiasm with a down-to-earth practical approach to personal and spiritual growth. People open up easily to his clear and amicable style.
