Wisdom of World Religions - Hinduism; The Ramayana

     

The Ramayana stands as one of India's most significant epics, surpassing the influence of Greek epics on Western thought. The Ramayana makes up the framework for Hindu religious, cultural, and social imagination.  The course will explore the narrative of the Ramayana, allowing each student to extract valuable personal insights and lessons.

Requested reading: Ramayan: A Tale of Gods and Demons by Ranchor Prime (Michael requests if possible to please read this prior to attending class.)

He combines deep scholarship, spontaneous humor, and contagious enthusiasm with a down to earth practical approach to personal and spiritual growth.
