The Mysteries of Mary Magdalene: Exploring Christ Consciousness Through the Divine Feminine

     

Christ consciousness is the awareness of the sacred in everyone and everything. Christ consciousness is what Jesus lived and taught. 

 

What if Jesus’ most important disciple was a woman, Mary Magdalene? What if Jesus and Mary experienced sacred, conscious, romantic love? And what if it was Mary who taught and helped the other disciples understand Jesus’ teaching? 

 

Drawing on recent scholarship of extrabiblical texts and interpretation of common texts, we will explore possible answers to these questions. The result will be a deepened and expanded Christ-consciousness in our lives, specifically awareness of the divine feminine. Join us for this compelling and provocative three-week adventure of Christ consciousness through the mysteries of Mary Magdalene.

Rev. James Kress, M.A., D.D., loves inspiring and leading people spiritually! He has 25 years of pastoral ministry that includes service as a Senior Pastor, church planter, counselor, and international ministry leader in Russia, South America, Europe, and Mexico. During his ministry career, James expanded his experience to include leading top-performing teams in the retail sector. He currently works in Learning and Development at BECU (Boeing Employees Credit Union). James has an M.A. in Theology from Liberty University and earned his Doctor of Divinity at Emerson Theological Institute, and recently affiliated as a Centers for Spiritual Living minister. He is also finishing his International Coach Federation certification. James has three children, one grandchild, enjoys skiing, hiking, fitness, and most of all, co-creating and living life with his beloved wife Bridgette.
