Ancient cultures viewed the larger natural, animal, ancestral and divine "worlds" as a kind of Home and extended Family. In their view, humans are parented or raised not only by the immediate family (mom and dad), but by the entire Cosmos.
Our modern post-Freudian era has limited parenting to dad and mom, resulting in what James Hilmman calls "the parental fallacy". Join us to explore the implications of these two differing views, and the ways they affect both how you have been raised and how we raise our own families.
