In cycling and perhaps running, there exists a term called a “False Flat.” You think you are moving on a stretch of flat ground but what is really going on is you are on a slight incline. One direction you are working really hard and wondering what is wrong with you. The other direction, the journey is really easy and you think you are the doing great. And then you change direction and find out you were on the False Flat. What now?
