Description

Soul-making According to Pink Floyd’s The Wall

At the height of his success, Roger Waters hated what he was doing with his band, Pink Floyd. He despised the fans and his own decline into consumerist pop commercialism. For therapy, he wrote the music and lyrics that became The Wall. This album is, more or less, an autobiographical journey from childhood, through adolescence and into adulthood, chronicling his struggles with family, marriage, fame, money, sex and the ennui that is not supposed to accompany international stardom. The story begins with the building of a psycho-spiritual egoic wall, and concludes with the dismantling of that wall. Listen to the music and explore your own soul-making story from The Wall.
